Team Members
For over 30 years, BHM has developed a highly skilled team of project managers, engineers, material engineers, commercial managers and quantity surveyors, equipment managers, mechanics, surveyors, equipment operators and a skilled labour force. We recognize that training and development is essential to our staff. A considerable amount of resources are allocated for job support and training programs across all departments that teach skills to improve job performance.
At BHM, we believe that the success of our company depends on the success of our people. That’s why we create opportunities for promotion from within and offer a range of graduate sponsorships for employees studying full-time, part-time, or undertaking virtual learning programs.

BHM’s senior leadership team, including the managing director and the senior management team members, are chartered civil engineers or have other professional accreditations and a wealth of practical experience in their respective fields. Notably, our executive leadership team has over 150 years of combined experience in construction.

Anthony is the founder of the company. He has diversified his portfolio of interests to include bitumen production, aragonite mining as well as marina, commercial and residential real estate in the USA, Europe and the Caribbean.

Chairman
Peter has been a Director of the company since 1984; his other interests include ready mix concrete, waste management along with haulage and aviation.

Director
Ebbe joined BHM in 2000; a Chartered Engineer with over 30 years of experience in the civil construction industry including marine, airport and major highways. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and General Contractor in the Bahamas.
Symonette
Craig has been a Director since 1984; he is also the Chairman of the Symonette Group, an investment company with a variety of interests in shipping, farming and retail.
Bethel
John has been a Director of the company since 1984; he is also President of Bethell Estates with diversified interest predominantly in Real Estate. He has recently been appointed a Director of Focol Holdings Ltd a petroleum company and is a long standing member of the Board of Trustees of the Duke of Edinburgh Awards and the Council of the Bahamas National Trust.

International
Prior to joining BHM, Phil was Managing Director and Board Director of Mouchel PLC and Accord PLC, with 28 years highways and airport experience in the UK and internationally. Phil is responsible for leading the international expansion for the group

Director
Brian has been the technical principal for the Company for 13 years; he has more than 40 years’ experience employed with a number of international contractors and consulting engineers.
He has led on technical delivery on numerous major projects across the globe.
Garraway
Engineer
Rob has over 15 years’ experience of design and project management of complex civil engineering schemes. Prior to joining BHM he was a senior Project Engineer for the Ministry of Works and Transport in the Bahamas. Rob is a Member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers.
Hunt, CIOB
Projects Director
Geoff is a Building and Civil Engineering professional with over 40 years’ experience in the construction industry. Over the past 25 years he has worked at senior management and Project Director level for the Costain Group. Geoff is supporting the international expansion.

Controller
Debra joined BHM in 2008 and is a Certified Public Accountant with 17 years of experience including six years in accounting with the international renowned accounting firm KPMG.
Licensed by Georgia State Board of Accountancy and the Bahamas Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Huckle
Manager
Paul is a Commercial Manager with over 40 years of Commercial and Management experience in the Construction Industry, working on both Major Building and Civil Engineering Projects. Before joining BHM, Paul was a Commercial Manager for Balfour Beatty limited.
